Call for 'Best Kept' entries

SCHOOLS in Lurgan are being called upon to enter the 2010 SuperValu Best Kept School Awards to earn recognition for their environmental projects.

The organisers of the prestigious environmental awards scheme, the Northern Ireland Amenity Council (NIAC) and sponsors SuperValu, are encouraging local schools to enter the awards by the closing date of Friday, March 5.

Over 200 schools entered the awards in 2009.

The SuperValu Best Kept School Awards will be judged during April and May and winning schools will be presented with their prizes in June.
