Butler urges action on suicide prevention
Lisburn Councillor Robbie Butler has called for a multi-agency approach to be adopted to tackle the growing crisis of suicides.
“It is not good enough for any of us to stand by and do nothing. Suicide prevention is everyone’s business, and it is imperative that a multi-agency approach is taken to tackle this growing problem. We, as a community must come together to do all that we can to ensure that lives are saved by becoming better equipped to prevent others from taking their own life and providing the right support to those affected by suicide.”
