Bushmills centre usage promoted

MOYLE Council produced promotional fliers for distribution after a reduction in the number of people using the Bushmills Community Centre in the autumn.

A Moyle Council report said a couple of key user groups had ceased their activities.

But the report added: ‘Two weekly computer classes have now started in partnership with Northern Regional College and more classes are planned.

‘Activities for Over-50s have also recently commenced, organised through Bushmills Community Association. As a result the user figures for January show a significant rise from the later months of 2011.’

Mosside Community Centre has more users than Bushmills, the report added.
