Body found in missing man search
Police searching for a missing Ballyclare man have recovered a body.
Robert McMurtry, known as Bert, disappeared at about 9.45am on Monday morning.
Later the same day at around 3pm the 66-year-old’s car was found in the Woodburn area, near Carrickfergus.
On Tuesday evening local police said they had found a body in the same area.
A police spokeswoman said: “Investigations are ongoing and a post mortem will be carried out.”
