Beaten up man sufferedbroken noseand cut eye

Police are appealing for information following the report of an assault on the 23 year old man in the Shipquay Street area.

At approximately 11.30pm the injured party was assaulted by four unknown males. As a result of this assault he sustained a broken nose and laceration to his eye.

Constable Dan Lowe appealed to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 584 23/05/16.
