Ballymena UCF Support Group marks its 20-year milestone

Cycle, trek, run, climb – you can spring into action for UCF and raise vital funds to help cancer patients and their families in Northern Ireland. Our sporting events cater for all levels of ability and take place at home and abroad. These exciting fundraising events will introduce you to new places, experiences and create memories that will last a lifetime. A few of our sporting events planned for 2010 include:

Winter Ben Nevis - March 11-14; Scrabo Abseil - March 13; Glens of Antrim Challenge Trek - April 25; London Marathon - April 25; Inca Trail with Community Project - May 1-12; Belfast Marathon - May 3; Inca Trail - May; Ben Nevis Challenge - June 18-20, July 30-August 1, September 10-12; Paddle the Bann - May 29-30; Four Peaks Challenge (Open event) - May 28-30; Celtic Mountain Challenge - June 4-6, October 1-3; Annalong Valley Challenge Trek - June 26; Kilimanjaro Trek - June 29-July 10; Swimathon - June/August; New York Half Marathon - August; Canoe Canada (Open event) - August 26-September 2; Co-operation Ireland (Marie Keating/ UCF) - September 8-12; Great North Run - September 19; WOW Factor Mountain Bike Challenge - October 9-10; New York Marathon - November.

UCF also organises international treks where participants have the opportunity to also do something positive in the countries they visit – for example in May 2010 you can trek the Inca Trail and volunteer at a local school in Peru, helping to repair and refurbish the building.
