Ballymena passengers benefit from Translink and Victoria Square offers

BUSINESSES across Ballymena and Northern Ireland are responding to the financial squeeze by offering consumers better deals, among them are Translink and Victoria Square who have introduced a range of special offers to help people save money this Spring.

Martin Lundy, Translink Ballymena Service Delivery Manager said: “We have introduced a number of offers such as our 1/3 off day returns across Goldline and NI Railway services* to encourage Ballymena passengers to make the most of the longer days and take advantage of discounted travel. We have also teamed up with Victoria Square’s ‘Save on a Wednesday Night’ campaign to help passengers enjoy some retail therapy by getting some great offers at various outlets within Victoria Square.”

Translink is also reminding Ballymena motorists that as fuel costs continue to rise and car parking fees increase, passengers can make great savings by tapping into the benefits of public transport. People travelling from Ballymena to Belfast can save £15.44 a week or £70.24 a month on petrol; £7.20 a week or £37.30 a month on diesel by making the switch from private car journeys to Goldline services*.
