Assault claim
A BALLYMENA man has appeared in court on an assault charge.
Nigel Alexander Stewart (40), of Knockeen Crescent, is accused of assaulting a man, occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The offence is alleged to have taken place on February 7. Stewart’s case was adjourned until May 13 at Ballymena Magistrates Court at the request of solicitor David McIlrath, who said other issues and discussions were ongoing.
