Arsonists target Glenavy bar

Lisburn police are investigating an arson attack which caused extensive damage to a Glenavy bar on Friday.

The blaze started at Lily Johnston’s, Main Street at 5.37am.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service from Crumlin and Lisburn dealt with the incident by 7am,

Much damage was caused to the ground floor lounge area of the pub.

Officers are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who has any information that could assist the investigation.
