Annual outing for Crumlin Flower Club
Lord and Lady Dunleath gave a guided tour of their home after they enjoyed morning coffee and a scrumptious strawberry torte made by Lady Dunleath or Vibse as she likes to be known.
Lady Dunleath explained that the strawberries came from her greenhouse in the walled garden of the estate. Indeed the couple of hours felt like a half hour such was the thrill of the tour.

The micro climate created in the walled garden has proved most beneficial to Lady Dunleath who believes that it extends the season for produce.
Lady Dunleath is also a very accomplished professional food historian who is passionate about all the local produce available for use in the kitchen of the estate.
Many of the ladies bought the home made jam, the ‘alpine strawberry’ being a favourite.
