Almod"var debut feature

PEDRO Almod"var's early opus Pepi, Luci, Bom will be the fare this Thursday, February 18 at the Nerve Centre on Magazine Street as the Magic Lantern Film Society continues its new season.

From the director of Volver and Broken Embraces, Pepi, Luci, Bom, featuresCarmen Maura as Pepi, a crazy Madrid slacker whose friends include Luci, the masochistic wife of a bullying cop, and Bom, a lesbian rocker. The film was Almodvar’s first and is essential viewing for fans.

The film will commence at 7.00 pm sharp. Cost of entry is 3 for non members. Membership, which gets you into all films up to June is 25/20 concessionary. Alternatively you can also pay for each screening at a price of 3 per screening.
