SLIDESHOW:Another big turnout for Lurig Run

Runners from throughout the province and beyond travelled to Cushendall once again for the annual Lurig Challenge Run earlier this month.

The streets of the Glens village were heavily lined with spectators and supporters as the brave runners set off on the steep mountain circuit.

Held as part of the Heart of the Glens Festival, this 3.5 mile run climbing to the 1150ft summit of Lurig mountain is open to all but is not for the faint hearted.
