Not only was it a beautiful morning outside as the sun shone, inside proved to be a lovely morning also of friendship and fellowship as ladies from Gracehill Moravian Women’s Association, and their guests, gathered together to enjoy a delicious selection of breakfast choices, after receiving a warm welcome from Rev Sarah Groves,

Guest speaker Alyson Reid brought a wonderful message under this year’s MWA theme ‘With a little help from my friends’ reminding everyone that God was our ultimate friend, and as a friend of God we have many opportunities to display Christian friendship through simple acts of love and kindness towards others. Alyson also talked about the Raise the Roof Kids Choir project, currently raising funds to build a school in Uganda, personally thanking the ladies at Gracehill MWA for their support to the project by hosting this mornings breakfast.

The morning ended with a solo from Jane Dunlop and Sally Weir, Circle Leader of Gracehill MWA, thanking everybody who’d contributed to such a lovely morning.

Gracehill MWA would thank the Rev Sarah Groves and Mrs Alyson Reid for giving their time to help make this morning so special.

Gracehill MWA would also like to take this opportunity to thank all who attended the breakfast and made such generous contributions in a retiring offering to chosen charity Raise the Roof project to build a school in Uganda. An overwhelming £430.00 was raised.
