A special letter from Santa!

Hellooooooo Ho Ho Ho.

Just wanted to tell you all about my recent shopping trip to Ballymoney when I switched on the Christmas lights with by 12 little elves from Glebe, Carnany and Castle. They did a fab job - and helped me dance Gangnam Style!

Before I arrived at the Town Hall to meet the elves, I did a bit of shopping in the town’s unique shops. There were top brands, competitive prices and lots of choice and I picked up lots of great value gifts in the shops offering 20% off selected items. And the coffee shops….. I was spoilt for choice … comfy seats and frothy coffee was just what the Big Man needed after shopping.

I will be making a few return trips to Ballymoney to my lovely grotto at Cassells Main Street on Fridays (3pm-5pm) and Saturdays (12noon-4pm). Just remember to bring your camera. I have checked out the Christmas programme and am looking forward to Tunes in the Town, with fUSe FM, Elvis and Disney on Saturday afternoons. All sponsored by the town’s four banks. Danske Bank, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank and First Trust Bank.

My chief elf is going along to the Oliver Twist Movie, this Saturday 1st Dec 11am. The classic tale which celebrates Charles Dickens 200th birthday this year. Great value at only £1. And there’s cinema snacks on sale before and during the interval.

The shops in Ballymoney pride themselves on giving you the service you deserve at a pace that leaves you feeling relaxed this holiday season, so shop local this Christmas and don’t miss the chance to win £200 of vouchers each week, and a cracker competition where you can win £50. You can’t beat that! So there’s plenty of reasons to make your way to Ballymoney this Christmas.

Bye for now… be good! I am watching you! Santa.
