Good Morning Ballymena seeking volunteers
Mayor of Ballymena, Cllr. Audrey Wales, with members of Good Morning Ballymena at the start of their 8 week Painting Workshops, promoting the awareness of Mental & Emotional well-being and Suicide Prevention. The project received funding from North Antrim Community Network and Public Health Agency.
A total of 15 members attend and while most had never lifted a paint brush in their lives, the end results were very impressive. Good Morning Ballymena is a free friendly telephone and Befriending service. Volunteers give members a quick telephone call on the agreed time each morning, Mon- Fri between 9.30-12.30.
