New SELB chief executive
The Southern Education and Library Board has appointed Gavin Boyd as interim chief executive following the retirement of Tony Murphy.
“As the initial internal trawl failed to attract any suitable applicants, the Board has moved to stage two of the recruitment process and trawled the vacancy across the education sector,” said a spokesperson.
Mr Boyd will report directly to the board
Chairperson Plunkett Campbell said: “The Board is pleased to have secured the services of such an experienced, capable professional.”
