Students feel the heat of the ‘Dragons’ Den’
Carrick students have tasted success in a ‘Dragons’ Den’ enterprise project.
The finalists got a start-up loan and the advice of a mentor to help them bring a business idea to the market for one day.
Megan Reid, from the winners who sold almost 800 cupcakes and made packaged boxes of six for people to take away, said: “The experience was so valuable, it showed us there is a lot more to running a business, but our hard work and the team effort paid off.”
