Oakfield sports day sponsored by store

A Carrickfergus school and a retail outlet have teamed up to promote the healthy lifestyle message.

Henderson Retail’s EUROSPAR, Carrick Milestone sponsored Oakfield Primary School’s annual sports day.

All the ingredients for a great event were there with the sponsor providing branded number bibs, banners, finishing tape and medals, plus refreshments and fruit.

Jonny Mitchell, store manager, said: “EUROSPAR, is a strong believer in encouraging healthy lifestyles and providing good quality products to create a balanced diet.

“EUROSPAR also encourages exercise which is essential for a healthy lifestyle.

“This is reflected in our sponsorship of school sports days,in our local 
communities.”

Jonny added:“It was great to see so many school children getting involved and there was some fantastic effort put in.”
