Winter photography contestlaunched by district council

Moyle District Council Tourism Section is pleased to announce the launch of their first winter photography competition.

The competition will run up until 31st January 2015 and as long as your photograph has been taken during the qualifying period, from 10th November 2014 up until the 31st January, you will be eligible to win £100 cash!

This competition is aimed at highlighting what an amazing place the Heart of the Causeway Coast and Glens area is to live and visit.

We want you to be a part of this by submitting your photographs, which capture the true essence of the Heart of the Causeway Coast and Glens, through our Facebook or Twitter pages simply using #heartofccag.

Caroline Carey, Tourism Officer explained “We have been delighted with the entries we have received on our twitter and facebook accounts for the competition to date which have mostly been of our beautiful
landscape.

“ We would also welcome photographs of residents and visitors with their family or friends enjoying the landscape or the events that are taking place in the run up to and over the Christmas Holidays”

The best entries will be selected by our Chairperson, Cllr Donal Cunningham and these top images will be posted onto Facebook and Twitter with the ultimate winners determined by the most likes or Re-tweets.

Entry into the competition is free and all entrants must be aged 18 or over. The image must follow the theme and all competition
rules.
