Video: Day of Reflection for World War One planned for Magherafelt

Royal British Legion Branches in Castledawson, Magherafelt and Upperlands are coming together for a Day of Reflection for the Great War later this year.

The event will be held at Meadowbank Sports Arena in Magherafelt on September 13 from 1pm to 5pm.

There will be a parade from the Rainey School to the Arena where there will be a Drumhead Service.

A family fun day will also form part of the activities which are still to be finalised.

Chairman of Magherafelt branch, Errol Caskey said that the event was open to all sections of the community.
