Step back in time with '˜The Jazzabelles'

With twelve new infectious songs sung by top local talent, a live band, swinging dance routines and a sharp script, Lisburn's Island Arts Centre is presenting '˜The Jazzabelles' on Saturday February 13 February at 8pm.

An original musical created by pianist and composer, Nick Boyle, it is set in 1950s Belfast and is the story of three local girls longing for a better life. After a chance meeting they form a vocal trio, ‘The Jazzabelles’, and dream of performing at the illustrious Floral Hall a place of entertainment and romance. However the road to stardom is far from smooth. ‘The Jazzabelles’ must overcome bullying husbands, blackmail and bigotry along the way.
