Being politically charged is nothing new for the Manics, but its fair to say their 12th album is as scything, if not as angry as their first.
Beyond that, it’s one of the most diverse albums of their quarter century career, with songs like Europa Geht Durch Mich, Mayakovsky and Dreaming A City opening new doors for the veteran Welsh anti-rock stars. GC
