Garvagh and Kilrea Players' DVD now available

GARVAGH and Kilrea Players recently handed over a cheque for £6000 to Harold Blair on behalf of MS NI.

The money was raised by performing The Quare Gunk, a three act comedy, written by Joyce Minford, and produced by William Clyde.

The members of the cast would like to thank William and Iris for all their hard work in getting the show on the road, and also the make up and stage teams for their work behind the scenes.

Garvagh and Kilrea Players are a mix of past and present members of the local YFC, who formed in 2005.

Sam Cree's 2nd Honeymoon and Widow's Paradise were performed in 2006 and 2008, with all money raised going to local charities.

The play is the third production from the Players, and for those of you who missed it the DVD is now available, from D and G Fashions, Garvagh, and Stevenson's Mace, Kilrea, priced 10.
