Local churches continue to do their bit for worthy causes both close to home and farther afield.

This Saturday, June 7, there will be a ‘Coffee Morning & Cakestand Tea” from 10am to 12noon at the Old Presbyterian Church, Templepatrick.

Everyone is welcome to go along and sample some delicious refreshments. Donations given will go towards Water Aid and church funds.

On Sunday, June 8, Antrim Methodist Church will be the venue for a ‘Community Sunday’ event.

Organised by the LOGIC group, anyone who goes along can look forward to a bouncy castle, barbecued food, games and a climbing wall as well as balloon modelling and face painting.

The fun starts at 11am, with activities kicking off at 12noon. Everyone is welcome.

Admission has been set at just £1 for adults and all children will be admitted for free.
