Father Ted night in Belmont

TEDJEST is a Father Ted charity night planned for June 14 in the Belmont Hotel, Banbridge, in aid of Marie Curie.

Based on the popular nineties sitcom, that has crossed the generations and is loved by all, the night guarantees a great time for a great cause.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the show kicks off at 8pm with a ‘Lovely Girls’ competition, sponsored by The Outlet.

Iveagh Movie Studios sponsor the second act with a Battle of the Bands – ‘My Lovely Horse’ during which five local bands will perform their own versions of the song from the show.

Members of the audience will have many chances to take part with a best dressed ‘Golden Cleric’ award, ‘Kick Bishop Brennan Up The Arse’ competition and of course, the star of all charity evenings, the raffle.

The event organisers want to hear from ‘lovely girls’ and local bands who’d like to take part in the evening. They also need donations, raffle prizes, hairdressers, make-up artists, set builders, photographers, promoters, actors and people to work behind the scenes on the night.
