Jewellery artist Nora Fok will be presenting her new work at an exhibition at the R Space Gallery in Lisburn’s Castle Street.
In collaboration with the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum and McConville’s Mill & Museum Dromore, international jewellery artist Nora Fok developed ‘linlon’, a linen and nylon mixed monofilament thread.
Researching the possibilities of linen for the first time, Fok grew her own flax from local seed and studied the various processing techniques before combining it with nylon.
The exhibition runs March 21-April 18, 11am-5pm. On March 21 there will be an artist talk (1-2pm) and a jewellery making masterclass (2-5pm). For information log onto www.rspacelisburn.com.
