Michelle Lewis is a storyteller who writes great songs and she will be appearing at the Bronte Music Club on Saturday June 27.
Her intensely visual songs are highlighted in distinctive harmonic melodies. She writes of love and pain and the relationships existing somewhere in between.
At age 14 Michelle picked up her father’s acoustic guitar and quickly became absorbed. She honed her songwriting at Berklee College of Music in her hometown of Boston and went on to tour the United States behind her first album “This Time Around” (2004).
She has been a long collaborator with producer Anthony J Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Shawn Mullins). Their work has included the release of her second full length album “The Parts of Us that Still Remain” (2014).
Michelle has co-written these songs with Robby Hecht, a Nashville favourite and LA sound designer Conan Skyrme.
Don’t miss Michelle’s stunning performance at the Bronte Music Club, Rathfriland on Saturday June 27 starting at 9pm with doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets are £10 and available from McWilliam Gallery (4062 3322) or at the door.
