Local author Colin Sloan officially launched his latest book at a special event held in Lisburn recently.
The new book, entitled Titus and the Drunk Pretender, is the second instalment in the Titus series and Colin has already begun work on the third book, which will see his lead character transported to the American Civil War.
The latest book sees the main protagonist Titus travel through Europe with Charles Edward Stuart, Bonny Prince Charlie.

With great attention to detail following a huge amount of passionate research, Colin has crafted a historic tale blending fact and fiction to tell the story of the Drunk Pretender.
Colin is well known through his work in Waterstones in Lisburn and the Assembly Rooms in Lisburn’s Irish Linen Centre were packed to capacity for the official launch recently.
The evening began with a wine reception, as everyone gathered to listen to a lone piper who appropriately blended both Irish and Scottish music, much to the delight of the audience.
The Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Brian Bloomfield, welcomed everyone to the launch.
Thanking the Mayor and the Lady Mayoress for their support, Colin read extracts from the book, as well as sharing some insights into the writing of his latest offering.
