Wright expects another tough test

LISBURN DISTILLERY manager Tommy Wright is expecting a tough task when his side travel to Dungannon Swifts tomorrow (Saturday), saying: "There are no easy games."

Despite Dungannon lying second from bottom in the league, with just three points from one win, Wright knows that anything can happen, especially since that one win came at the expense of the champions, Linfield.

Wright said: "We are pleased with the start we have made. We probably haven't played as well as we could have done in our last two matches, but we've taken our chances when they have come along. But we have to realise anything can happen and it is still early days.

"Dungannon are always a difficult side and they have already beaten Linfield. We hope to put ourselves in that mould and be hard to beat."

Praising his young striker Gary Liggett, who got off the mark with the winner last Saturday, Wright added: "Gary's done extremely well. He's a young player and it will take time for him to find his feet, but he's done extremely well and has been unlucky not to score more goals."

• LINFIELD'S planned clash with Crusaders at Windsor Park tomorrow (Saturday) is off due to this weekend's International fixtures.

The Blues will face Cliftonville in the Co. Antrim Shield next Tuesday night.
