Whites begin defence of trophy

Lisburn Distillery begin the defence of their League Cup trophy tonight (Tuesday) at home to Tobermore United.

The Whites enjoyed a great run in the competition last season culminating in a magnificent win over Portadown in the final, their first major trophy win since the Gold Cup in 1994.

Linfield make the trip to Ballyclare Comrades who lead Championship 2 with only one defeat in the last eight games.
