What a load of rubbish!

LISBURN Distillery supporters were joined by Academy players and their parents as the club took park in Tidy Northern Ireland’s Big Spring Clean, held recently around the club’s New Grosvenor home.

Councillors Paul Porter and Andrew Ewing also got involved in the fun.

Community Relations Officer Ged Irwin told the club’s website, Lisburn-Distillery.net, “This is the second year we have taken part in the clean-up and like last year the event will be looked upon again as a success.

“We collected 35 bags of rubbish from the Ballyskeagh area along with some large items of rubbish that had been dumped in the locality.

“I would also like to thank everyone who turned up to help us improve our environment and also give something back to the community.”
