Tom and Heather win Christmas mixed

The ever popular Christmas Mixed competition was well supported, with many sporting seasonal attire in the way of sweaters and hats.

The competition was very close with husband and wife pair Tom and Heather Mills winning with 24 points. Second, third and fourth all scored 22 points with Gents Vice Captain Ed Donaldson and Brenda Dargan second, Jimmy Robinson and Sue McDonagh third and Jeff Lamb and Jo Donaldson fourth. The Gents Captain Paul Banford presented all with their respective prizes before presenting Colin McClelland and Patricia McDonnell with the Jack and Judy Cup for their ‘all year’ performances in mixed competitions.

Winter League

- Week Eight of the 2013/2014 Andrew Annett Winter League competition was only for the brave with persistent strong winds and light drizzle to contend with. Scoring was understandably low. Only one person managed to break the level par score of 24 points over 12 holes.
