Three medals for local trampolinists

CARRYDUFF’S local Trampoline Club the Trampoline Network had four entries in the recent Belfast Regional Championships and all four were medallists.

Three golds and one bronze medal were achieved. In the Novice event Eoin McNally came 1st with 42.6 in the under 13 boys and Rebekah Forson came 3rd with 41.7 in the under 15 girls. In the Intermediate section Kyle Stewart came 1st in the under 15 boys and Kelly Fitzsimons came 1st in the under 19 girls. Their scores were 43.1 and 47.3 respectively.

With the highest score for the club on the day Kelly also achieved the qualifying grade for the Northern Ireland Championships to be held in December. Novice qualification is 43.0 and Intermediate 45.0. Eoin, Rebekah and Kyle will be training hard to increase their scores at the next regional qualifier later in June.

The club trains in the new Ballymote Sports and Wellbeing Centre in Downpatrick on Saturday mornings and Lough Moss Leisure Centre, Carryduff on Sunday afternoons. Contact Head Coach Graham Erskine on 0796870235.
