Three in a row for South Seconds

South Antrim Seconds made it three wins in a row after a crucial victory against Banbridge Thirds.

South, fielding an experienced lineup, showed a calmness which belied their lowly league position. They moved the ball well into midfield, allowing Man of the match Jack Redpath to dictate the play. Willie Redpath Snr and Jonny Taylor ably assisted the young Redpath in midfield.

South took the lead when the impressive Andy Hanley played the ball into midfield for Willie Redpath Snr, who took a touch and played it back to Hanley, who cut the ball back for Jamie Cochrane who finished first time from the top of the circle. South soon went two up after Neil Wilson finished powerfully from the edge of the circle.
