All finalists should wear grey and white and the line-up reads:

5.00pm, junior singles and pairs, (all juniors under-18 welcome).

6.00pm, National fours, ladies triples.

7.30pm, National triples, over-55 pairs.

8.30pm, National pairs, ladies pairs.

9.30pm, National singles and ladies singles.

Great fight back but Lisburn lose

Lisburn fought back from 14 shots down at the interval, but just lost by two shots after a great second half fight back away to Western in the second round of the Ladies Inter Zone Cup.

They travel to Oriel in the Plate in January, a week after the men also make the journey to Dundalk in the Men’s Cup third round.

Jean Ellison, Patricia Halliday, Kathleen McCullough and Theresa Cushnahan never got going and lost 15-1 to C. Scott.

Jean Nimmon, Suzanne Cushnahan, Vera McCourt, and Amanda Carser were 11-5 up at the seventh but lost 11-15.

Winnie Irwin, Laura Scales, Genny Little and Thelma Irwin led 3-2 at the fifth and won 11-7 in a tight game to leave 14 shots adrift at the break.

Agnes Creaney, Dorothy Kinghan, Jean Cairns and Karen Ellison led 5-4 at the sixth before winning the remaining ends to get home by eight shots.

Agnes Liggett, Ruth Neely, Mary McCandless and Geraldine Tallon lifted a four to go 7-3 ahead at the sixth and won by two shots.

Margaret Wilson, Mary McQuillan, Muriel McLernon and Marie Corey were 6-7 down at the fifth but came back to win 12-10.
