Tom Sudlow was 6-14 down at the tenth and came back to 15-20 at 15 ends but only added another shots when losing by 11 shots.

Irwyn McKay squeezed home by a shot for the only win, but Eric Mairs lost out by a shot, which would have given them two points though falling heavily.
