Raymond only Hilden winner

RAYMOND Gourley was the only Hilden winner but his 16 shots success enabled them to win by eight shots away to Knock in Private Greens Senior Three.

Despite lifting a four and a five Maurice Kirkwood was just 12-11 ahead at the tenth and he added a three but was 17-19 down at 15 ends before losing by two shots.

At 11 ends Jonathan McMullan was 5-9 down but three at 14 ends put him 10-9 up. Down 11-16 at 18 ends Hilden lifted two threes but a dropped double at the last end meant they lost by a shot.

After dropping three threes at the opening ends Stephen Kirkwood came back with two threes and a five but was still 13-28 down at 16 ends. Hilden won the remaining ends and included a four and a five though losing by five shots.

Raymond Gourley lifted two threes to lead 12-9 at 12 ends and 15-10 at 15 ends. Hilden lifted a five, dropped two and finished with three, four, one to win by 16 shots.
