Raymond makes the difference for Ballinderry with super win

Raymond Stubbs’ win by seven shots was exactly the difference in the end result when Ballinderry beat Soldierstown and took 5.5 points, but there was only a shot difference in two other games and one was tied.

Three at the third gave David McLorn a 3-1 lead, but Stubbs came back with two threes to lead 10-3 at the seventh. A single each gave Ballinderry a seven shots win

Level 4-4 at the fifth Jim Johnston went 7-4 up with two ends left, but Keith Morrison finished with one, three to win by a shot.

At the seventh George Stewart was 6-2 ahead, but Paul Reid lifted a five to lead 7-6 before Soldierstown got the single to earn a tie.

A five helped Eddie Marsden to an 8-3 lead at the fifth but John Mackey won the last four ends with three singles and a three to get home by a shot.
