Pre-season rugby returns once again to Lisburn RFC

The Senior Men's section of Lisburn Rugby Football Club begin their preparations for the forthcoming season on Tuesday July 19 at 7pm.

The local club request that all current and new members join them out at their grounds located just beside Sprucefield.

Lisburn Rugby Club currently fields three men’s senior teams and newly appointed Club President William Gould warmly invites all players of all abilities to join the ranks, regardless of experience.

The club is also holding its first ever Rugby Academy registration day for players aged 11-18 years of age on the 6th August, and again wishes to reach out to any current or budding rugby players within that age range.

The registration day will allow players to:

* Join the club for new members

* Renew your membership for existing members

* Complete IRFU paperwork

* Get your picture taken for IRFU playing card

* Concussion presentation for parents

* Get your questions answered by the various section leads

* Get information on pre-season and strength and conditioning sessions

* Get measured for club merchandise

* Most importantly, have a bit of craic.
