Pain in the rain

LISNAGARVEY were the only local side to beat the weather last Saturday, but they suffered in the rain when Balmoral scored a 45 shots home win and took all seven points.

Noel Graham was 6-9 down at the tenth and 10-15 at 15 ends before losing by ten shots.

Down 5-11 at the tenth, Ivan Craig was 9-19 adrift at 15 ends and lost by 11 shots.

At the tenth Keith Morrison was down 3-12 but he came back a little to 8-15 at 15 ends before losing by 11 shots.

Neil Mulholland was 7-12 behind at the tenth and 11-17 at 15 ends and Garvey lost by 13 shots.

LISNAGARVEY progressed to the second round of the NIBA Senior Cup with a 31 shots home win over Dungannon.

It was an easy success with Garvey up on all four rinks.
