More houses planned for Drumbo
In December 1958, Drumbo was set to expand.
An amended plan for a Drumbo housing site was approved by Hillsborough Rural Council.
Fourteen houses had already been built in Drumbo and an engineer, who submitted the application, said he planned to build another 84 houses.
There were also plans for a children’s playground, which the council agreed was very necessary.
