St Colman’s Lambeg got a huge boost in the Saction B Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League relegation battle when they took all seven points from a 49 shots home win over Aghagallon.

Two fours helped Marie Corey to an 11-1 lead at the fifth, but Frank Agnew finished with two, seven, four, two to win by five shots.

In a nip-and-tuck game Genny Little led 5-4 at the sixth and after Gary McWilliams lifted a three Aghagallon levelled with a double. A last end six was the winning margin for Lambeg.

A single at the fourth and a double at the last end were all Geraldine Tallon got as Lawrence Long included two fives and two fours in a 20 shots win.

Eamon Hamill was 3-2 up at the third but James Burns included a three and a four in a win by eight shots.
