South Fifths 1 Omagh 0

Having lost to Omagh 2-1 earlier in the season, South were looking to capitalise on their recent good form.

They knew it was going to be a tough match with Omagh sitting top of the table and unbeaten.

South started brightly and took the game to the league leaders pressing them back into the 25.

Within five minutes, Cain Brown got onto the end of a cross and calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net.

Omagh started to come back into the match but didn’t ever really threaten the South net.

The second half continued in the same vein and South were unfortunate to have a second goal ruled out.

The match finished 1-0 to South who overall deserved the three points.
