Colman’s take four points

St Colman’s Lambeg 33 (4) Sloan Street 33 (3)

The scores finished all square but St Colman’s Lambeg got a 4-3 win at home to Sloan Street in Section B of the Roy Kennedy Fuels League.

At the third Adrian McNevison was 3-2 ahead but a four helped Frank Agnew to a 9-3 lead at the seventh when singles were exchanged.

A three helped Stephen Irwin to a 6-2 lead at the fifth, but Gary McWilliams came back to go 7-6 up with an end left when Sloan Street lifted a single.

Lawrence Long lifted three, four but when Colin Beck lifted three and four the scores were level 8-8 at the sixth. Lambeg added two singles and Sloan Street’s last end single left them a shot down.

James Burns started with a three but a four at the fifth gave Thelma Irwin a 9-3 lead before Sloan Street won by seven shots.
