Nathan Doak hit a brilliant unbeaten 100 as Lisburn CC U13s hammered Muckamore by 172 runs in the 2nd round of the Banogue Cup.
Nathan opened the batting with Michael Glass (33) and finished with Jude Postlethwaite (30 not out), hitting four 6s and twelve 4s in an outstanding innings.
Nathan combined excellent front foot technique with exceptional power square of the wicket to score the first century at U13 level in many years, as Lisburn scored 192 for 1.
The bowlers also performed well, with the talented pair of Conor Blair (3 for 6) and Joel Wiseman (3 for 2) the pick of the bowlers.
In the field, Oliver Patterson and Jude took two very different, but equally memorable, catches, as Muckamore stumbled to 20 all out.
Lisburn now play local rivals Derriaghy in the quarter final.
It should be an exciting match between two of the best junior teams in the NCU.
