Jog Lisburn Running Club held their inaugural Team Handicap Relay at Wallace Park on Saturday April 11.
The aim of the run was to introduce competition among members but at the same time, have a bit of craic.
A total of 33 runners from the club (11 teams of 3) were on the start line and they were made up of varying running abilities. Each runner had to run two individual laps of the park (just over 1km) with four changeovers.
The key to the outcome of the race was pacing and the race was won by Brenda Harris, Julia McNeice, and Tracey Parkinson – well done.
There was a great turnout from the Club and they would like to thank everyone for taking part and family and friends who supported the event.
