The battle at the bottom of Section A of the Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League is hotting up following the first two weeks of the New Year.
Derriaghy have been drawn into the equation following two defeats, one against Hillsborough Social and the other to relegation rivals, Hilden, who also beat Killaney.
St Paul’s got a second successive win when beating Eglantine, who have also won one of their two matches.
These results could also draw others into the fight.

Harry worked tirelessly for three clubs
Harry Magihon, who died earlier this month, was a tireless worker at the three bowling clubs which he belonged to over the years.
He was treasurer at Finaghy Bowling Club, but his association here went much further. I know only too well the work he did in keeping the junior team at the club going in very difficult days.
Several Saturdays he came back to tell me the B team had a full complement after all and that was usually down to Harry’s hard work.
In the short mat game he was secretary at Derryvolgie and he brought several players to keep the club going through difficult times.
Harry was also a treasurer at the Dunmurry Presbyterian Club, who do not play in the League. Again he was a member who did a lot of work.
Unfortunately, Harry was unable to devote the full work to these clubs due to failing health, but he will be remembered for sterling dedication.
To his wife, Esme, and the family circle the bowlers in the local area extend their deepest sympathy.
Lisburn home to Donegal
Lisburn will hope to follow up their recent success in the IIBA Inter Zone Plate competition when they entertain Donegal at Eglantine Parish hall tomorrow (Saturday), 2pm.
The new look side gained experience when winning their first match and it is hoped a large crowd will again give them full support in a difficult game against Donegal.
