Match of day in Lisburn

MATCH of the day on Saturday features Lisburn Distillery and Crusaders clashing head on at New Grosvenor.

A win for the Whites will see them leapfrog the Crues into third spot and Tommy Wright's men are the form team having lost just three league games out of the last 22.

Stephen Baxter's men will still be smarting from the first meeting earlier this season when the Whites came from a goal down to snatch a dramatic late win at Seaview.

"It all adds up to being a good game," said Whites' boss Wright. "We have come a long way from this time last year and we can go into these type of games with a different perspective. It's important to keep the run going because I really believe we can finish well up the table. I think fourth spot is up for grabs and with the squad we have I believe we can set that as a realistic target.

"Crusaders have a lot of quality in their team and we know it will not be easy to keep our run going. Before our good win at Ballymena on Tuesday night I felt we had slipped back as far as performance levels are concerned and you cannot afford to let that happen."

Second placed Linfield travel to Coleraine - always a difficult test - but with Peter Thompson back among the goals they will be aiming for the three points.
