Local teams face a difficult day

Three local teams still engaged in Irish Bowling Association Cup competitions face a difficult day tomorrow (Saturday).

Dromore are the only team in the trio to have a home game in the Senior Cup, but the opposition is Ballymena, one of the top Private Greens teams.

Hilden travel south to play Westmanstown and little is known about the opposition, though after the first round win over Belfast in the Intermediate Cup the Hilden boys appeared happy enough with a day out.

Lagan Valley received a first round bye in the Junior Cup and their second round opposition pulled out.

They now travel to Coleraine to play Brookgreen in the third round and again it is difficult to gauge the opposition.
