This will be the first time in the 125 year history of the NCU that the Wallace Park will be the venue for the Challenge Cup final.

However, Lisburn are no strangers to the event, having appeared in the final 18 times with nine victories and one tie, six of these in the Golden Era of the 1950's and early 60's.

Wallace Park also played host to the ‘Botham' match in 1986.

While the NCU Cup Final is certain to be the highlight on the field for Lisburn in their anniversary year, the celebrations will culminate with a Gala Anniversary Dinner on October 8 when Sky Sports commentator David Lloyd will be guest of honour.
